Emirates Motor Company (EMC) has been awarded the title of Top Performing Body Shop in the region by Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East.
The Abu Dhabi based firm received the prestigious title due to a series of initiatives and enhancements it implemented to improve its products and services as well as delivering impressive growth figures and customer turnaround times throughout 2016.
The annual awards are hotly contested amongst Mercedes-Benz distributors in ten countries – Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, KSA, Oman, Pakistan and the UAE. EMC has a strong record at the awards and did the UAE proud once again.
EMC brought home the trophy after investing heavily in the latest technology, such as specialist aluminum maintenance bays, large-scale temperature controlled spray booths, and environmentally friendly recycling machine for thinner which have resulted in a 67% reduction in waste.
Emirates Motor Company (EMC), is the authorised Mercedes-Benz distributor in Abu Dhabi and flagship company of Al Fahim Group. Its body shop business has increased 300% since 2009.

In 2016 EMC enjoyed significant improvements in vehicle throughput (workshop turnaround times), while the dedicated express service offered on minor repairs such as bumpers and windscreens ensured many of the customers were back on the roads in no time.
Body Shop Manager, Andreas Hurst, said: “We have the largest paint booths in the Middle East and GCC and I also believe we have the most technologically developed body shop in the region.”
Government officials and even royalty bring both personal and professional jobs to the site, trusting the repair and service of vehicles worth a small mortgage to the technicians that are trained and tuned to deliver the Mercedes-Benz quality standard every single day. In recent years F1 teams have been bringing their racing cars for repair and body shop work at EMC.
