Western Motors announces grand opening of newly revamped Abu Dhabi headquarters alongside launch of 2018 model Jeep Compass

Abu Dhabi, 25 April 2018: Western Motors, the sole distributor of Jeep, Fiat, and Mopar in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and a member of ALFAHIM, has officially announced the grand opening of its headquarters alongside the launch of the new 2018 model Jeep Compass.

The opening of the Western Motors 1,975 sqm facility at ALFAHIM’s Airport Road automotive complex reaffirms the company’s ongoing commitment to Abu Dhabi’s economic development.

Completed on schedule, the extensive project has more than doubled the size of Western Motors’ home in the UAE capital.

Mohammad Abdullah Al Fahim, Group Head of Business Development at ALFAHIM, said:

“We started 42 years ago amidst Abu Dhabi’s downtown district when we operated under the name Al Jallaf Trading. Fast forward to 2018, Western Motors’ new and modern facility is only the first among ALFAHIM’s automotive developments and strategic growth plan in the emirate as a whole.”

“As an Emirati conglomerate, our aim is to always strive for the best while abiding by our core values of Commitment and Diligence. This customer-focused strategy is our recipe for success in consistently seeking ways to enhance customers’ experiences and exceeding all expectations.”

To coincide with the opening of its new and improved headquarters, Western Motors has announced the launch of the new 2018 model Jeep Compass.

Recognised as the most capable compact SUV on the road, the new Jeep Compass features fully independent suspension and precise power steering to deliver superior on-road driving.

Drivers can enjoy the Jeep Compass’ best-in-class off-road capability courtesy of two advanced 4×4 systems; the Jeep Active Drive and the Jeep Active Drive Low. Each system can send 100 per cent of available torque to any wheel when required.

Safety was paramount in the development of the new Jeep Compass, which boasts forward collision and lane departure warning systems, as well as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross path detection.

The Jeep Compass also comes with fully automated parallel and perpendicular parking assist and adaptive cruise control, among many other features.

Additionally, the new Jeep Compass is available in three models; the mid-level Longitude, the off-road and performance focussed Trailhawk, and the more refined Limited, which features leather seats and 17-inch aluminium wheels among other luxury enhancements. Jeep’s 2.4-litre I4 MultiAir engine and 9-speed automatic and AWD transmission is equipped as standard across the Compass range.

General Manager of Western Motors, Mohammed Al Momani said, “Customers visiting our world-class facility will be able to access a new and improved showroom as well as upgraded services and facilities, including a “special edition” section created to showcase unique Jeep Wrangler models and other exclusive vehicles.

“Western Motors will continue to provide an unrivalled standard of services at its new home, which has been fully revamped to expertly meet the needs of new and existing customers.”

As part of ALFAHIM, Western Motors constantly strives to innovate and improve.

In the past five years, the company has recorded an overall turnover growth of six per cent, with total vehicle unit sales growth at five per cent. Used car sales recorded an 89 per cent growth and sales of car parts saw growth of 48 per cent in the same period.
